The All Stars program is an extension of the Recreational program, and provides children –U8 through U19– with an opportunity to play at a more competitive level.
SYSA teams participate in the HYS Thanksgiving (Fall), and the FPYC Father’s Day (Spring) tournaments.
All currently registered SYSA recreational players are eligible to play if selected. No carded Travel Players can participate in these recreation-oriented tournaments. Open tryouts are required for eligible players who are interested in an All-Stars tournament experience and who will be available to play June 15 & 16.
Tryouts for the Spring 2013 season will be held over two consecutive weekends: April 27 & 28 and May 4 & 5. Players need to attend at least one tryout to be considered for a team. Please check the upcoming Tryout Schedule .
After try outs the coaches will contact all players to tell them if they made the roster for all stars; not everyone that trys out will make the team. Then there will be practices on the weekends.
Participation fee, if selected for a team, is $35.
Cost for an All Stars jersey is $20 (applicable to U8 through U10 teams. SFL players will play with their SFL uniform.)
