If you would like the chance to train with and play against some of the best players from clubs all around the Washington region, I strongly encourage you to tryout for an All-Star Team! The teams will be participating in the HYS All-Star Cup November 21-22.
You will have the opportunity to tryout over two weekends. You must attend a minimum of one session to be considered for placement on a team. First weekend is September 26-27. The second weekend is October 3-4. Specific tryout times & locations for each age group will be posted by this weekend.
BELOW ARE A FEW A FEW THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE TRYOUTS:
-You must be currently registered on a house U8-U19 team.
-You must be available for the All-Star tournament weekend November 21-22.
-Tryouts are competitive, so there is no guarantee that everyone will be selected to play.
-There is an additional time commitment. You will have practices outside of your regular house team in order to prepare for the tournament.
-While the emphasis is still on player development & having fun, the games will be more competitive than the players are used to in the house league.
