My child was born in August, and according to the league structure, will end up playing with children of a different grade level. Why doesn’t SYSA have the same birthday cut off as the school system?
SYSA has adopted the age cut-offs that are consistent with the major local and national soccer leagues. These are the age cut-offs that are required for all local tournaments as well as the formation of teams in the travel leagues.
My daughter’s dance class and my son’s karate class run from $60 to $100 per month. SYSA’s website lists the cost for soccer as only $80/season. Now I am pretty good at math - and that works out to under $30/month. The listed cost MUST be a typo!
Technically speaking, all FAQ’s should be phrased as a question. But since your strong suit is math and not English, I will answer your question. It is not a typo, your math is correct. :)
