On a beautiful fall afternoon, the Xtreme traveled to Annandale to take on the Arsenal.  The two teams entered the match battling for first place with the Arsenal holding a one point lead in the standing.  The field, showing the wear of a dry summer, looked more like a softball infield than a soccer field, and thus the game was dubbed 'The Dust Bowl Game'.

The Xtreme took the wind in the first half and came out strong.  Mid way through the first half the Xtreme found the back of the net for the only score of the half.  In the second half, the Arsenal got the wind and the momentum.  The Xtreme stayed in control and had many shots on goal.  Unfortunately, a late goal for the Arsenal, with under 2 minutes to play, gave the Xtreme a 1:1 tie.
