U6 Junior Program
The U6 teams practice one night a week and play their matches on Saturday.
The match format is a small sided game with small, pop-up goals. The team breaks up into two 4 person teams and plays two simultaneous games with the other team. The coaches will try to match up players of similar skill level to play each other. The matches are split into four-8 minute quarters.
Substitutions are allowed at anytime. Official referees are assigned to the matches and are usually first year-certified youth referees.
The philosophy at this age is fun and development of individual technical skills of dribbling, kicking and passing.
