SYSA sponsors an in-house Referee In Training (Ref-IT) program for youth referees that are playing at the U13, U14, and U15 levels.  This program is designed as a stepping stone for soccer players interested in eventually becoming USSF certified referees. This program offers them an introduction to refereeing by refereeing SYSA’s younger U6 and U7 age 4v4 matches on Saturdays during SYSA’s Spring and Fall seasons.

AGE/EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:  Before you sign up for games, please be sure to refer to the age/experience guidelines on page 1 of the Policies and Procedures document posted below, and/or follow personal guidance you may have received from the referee Assignor or Mentor.    

OTHER REMINDERS:  1) Refer to page 9 of the Policies and Procedures document posted below for the Spring 2010 pay procedures.  2) Pay close attention to game times and field locations to avoid scheduling conflicts.
