During inclement weather, Loudoun County Parks and Recreation makes a decision to open or close fields by 4pm on weekdays and by 7:30am on weekends. They update the County Hotline at 703-777-0456.
All County fields used by SYSA (Hencken, schools) are governed by the county decision.
SYSA follows the LCPRC decision and updates the SYSA hotline at 703-729-8728.
On rare occasions we will allow NOVA to stay open when the County has closed the Hencken and school fields. This will be included on the SYSA hotline message.
You can also be notified of County closures by email and text message by the Loudoun County Alert Loudoun service. Read more about this service and sign up at Alert Loudoun
