If it is a game day and the hotline says that it is a "game time decision" that means you must go to the field and the referee makes the decision. 

STERLING FC Elite Black ’00 (U11 Boys) played in the Liberty Cup March 24 - 25.  The team made it to the Championship and placed second in their division.  The team is coached by Caco Buono.  Congratulations!!!!

The Sterling Fan Club made up of Coach Cross, Coach M. Eck, Coach K. Eck, Coach Jaramillo, Coach Forcey and Coach Valente won their division at the Dulles Sportsplex.  All of SYSA is very proud of our coaches!!!

Sterling FC Orange '99 Boys team were the champions of their division in the Icebreaker tournament held March 17-18.  They defeated the PWSI Courage '99 White team 5-3.  The team is coached by Chris Jensen and Javier Pleitez.

The Sterling FC Orange ‘99 were finalists in the National Division of the McLean Premier Tournament.  After going undefeated in their preliminary games, they advanced to the finals to take on McLean Premier Green in a rematch of last year’s finals.  After a tough, physical game, the teams looked to be headed into extra time tied 1-1, but a late goal by McLean gave them the victory.  The team is coached by James Powers and Kurt Scherer.

The Sterling FC Elite Black 96 boys were finalist in the Predator Division Annandale Premier Cup - the #1 ranked tournament for boys in the United States. The Elite won all three of their preliminary matches, shutting out all three nationally ranked teams along the way to the championship.  The team lost in the championship game 1-0 from a PK given up in the 9th minute. The team is coach by Dave Macmillan and STBW.
